Sarah Gaul is a wife, adoptive, and foster mama as well as a pet mom. She grew up a little bit of everywhere, but she calls Wichita her home now. She enjoys serving the women and families of Wichita and surrounding areas as a doula, birth assistant, and Certified Professional Midwife. She has worked in the birth world since 2013, when she began her schooling at Association of Texas Midwives, Midwifery Training Program. She became a doula and birth assistant first while working on her curriculum for certification and she joined Wichita Birth Assistance in early spring 2015 as a midwifery student She went on to graduate in 2018 and started practicing as a midwife with WBA. In 2019 she was certified as. a Certified Professional Midwife. As of spring of 2020 she has attended or overseen 250+ births in both the home and hospital setting. She feels blessed to have received a dynamic training and is licensed in the state of Texas after receiving training in both Florida and Wichita. She enjoys being with families in such an intimate and formable moment in their lives. She provides full midwifery and doula services including vaginal birth after cesarean, waterbirth, evidence and compassion based prenatal, labor, and postpartum care. She enjoys the opportunity to meet you where you are emotionally, spiritually, physically, and intellectually and enjoys helping you and your partner attain your individual birth goals. Sarah is willing to travel for births up to about an hour and half outside of the Wichita. area. She truly loves her birth work and calls it a calling, "There is no other way I would rather be serving my community and the amazing people within it. We are an amazing group of women who partner together to provide safe and comprehensive care." She would be happy to meet with you in order to assess how she can best serve you and your family. |
