Kathy's Birth Suite ~Your Home Away from Home
Kathy's Birthing Suite is located in a quiet and safe neighborhood on one level of a home in Wichita, KS, close to E. Kellogg and Webb Rd. Not only is the neighborhood safe to walk in, there is a park nearby with a paved walking trail available. The Birth Suite is modern and has a spacious birth tub that allows for deep-water immersion. Some will find comfort in using the tub for pain management while others will want a waterbirth. The Birth Suite is also equipped with labor tools such as birth and peanut balls, a TENS unit, a shower, essential oils with a diffuser, and nitrous oxide for extra comfort if desired.
Who chooses to use the Birth Suite?
Yes! You may bring your doula, birth photographer, and any other support people to your birth. Please talk over details with your midwife.

- Some who want to leave their kids in the comfort of their home with a caregiver while having more privacy for their birth
- Some who live in rural Kansas and want to be closer to Wichita and local hospitals if needed
